(Orlando, FLA). - Volvik, the #1 Color Golf Ball On Tour, announced today the hiring of 25 sales representatives covering the vast majority of the U.S. golf market. The group of independent territory managers represents over 700 years of experience in the golf industry and covers 42 states.

"We have been getting things ready for our official launch for the past year, which include sponsorships with the LPGA Tour, the Symetra Tour and with the Golf Channel," said Volvik USA President Don Shin. "The PGA Show is our official launch, but we have been hard at work marketing our brand and getting the our sales team ready to go. We feel with the addition of so many respected and experienced territory managers that we are going to be the biggest new golf manufacturer for 2013."

Volvik USA recently opened up its headquarters in Orlando, Fla. and hired golf industry veteran Jon Claffey to run Volvik's sales and marketing. Claffey is an 11-year golf industry sales and marketing specialist who led startups Sonartec, Nickent and SuperStroke to exponential growth and increased brand awareness and visibility.

"Our first step was to put together a team of some of the most experienced names in the business," said Claffey. "The next step is to launch the brand at the PGA Show and then introduce our high performance golf balls to the golfing public through seeding, marketing, merchandising and our growing account base. It's a very exciting time."

From Thursday, Jan. 24 through Saturday, Jan. 26, Volvik will exhibit at the 60th PGA Merchandise Show at Booth #1751. Volvik is the Official Golf Ball of the Equipment Testing Center at the 2013 PGA Merchandise Show and will showcase 10,000 of its innovative and colorful golf balls at the ETC for anyone in attendance to demo. Volvik is also the Official Golf Ball of the PGA Magazine Pro-Pro Series being held at Reunion Resort, Harmony Golf Preserve and Timucuan Jan. 22-24 for 600 PGA professionals.
