Volvik Golf Balls Score Another Top 10 And Top 25 Finish On LPGA Tour

Volvik Golf earned another Top 10 and another Top 25 on the LPGA Tour this week at the Mizuno Classic in Japan. Chella Choi earned her 8th Top 10 finish of 2012 playing a Volvik color golf ball. She now ranks 19th on the official LPGA money list with $622,027 earned in 2012.

Choi is currently in the Top 25 stat categories for Driving Accuracy, Greens in Regulation and Putts Per GIR with one more LPGA event left in the 2012 season.

Ilhee Lee, another Volvik staff player, finished T17 at the Mizuno Classic. The Top 25 finish moved her up to 38th on the 2012 money list with $347,327 earned. Lee ranked 91st on the 2011 LPGA money list and rose 53 spots after switching to the Volvik golf ball this season.

"The biggest thing Volvik has done for my game is improve my driving accuracy," said Lee. "The fairways these days are narrow and the rough is very tall. I really know that the Volvik balls have made me not miss as many fairways and that really helps a lot."

Volvik players earned over $2 million on the LPGA and Symetra Tour so far in 2012 with 3 wins and 28 Top 10 finishes by professionals using their high-quality color golf balls.

""We have received a significant amount of attention because our color golf balls are very easy to spot on the LPGA Tour telecasts," said Volvik USA President Don Shin. "It's been nice to get a buzz going as we prepare for our official launch into the US market, but the most important aspect of our Tour program is that we help the pros perform. They would not be using our product if it did not offer them a performance advantage."

Two players using Volvik golf balls earned their LPGA card earlier this year during the Volvik Race for the Card. Victoria Elizabeth finished 3rd on the final Symetra Tour money list, while Mi Hyang Lee finished 6th and earned Rookie of the Year honors. Elizabeth finished the season with 1 victory and 5 Top 10 finishes while Lee finished with 1 victory and 4 Top 10 results. Both players used Volvik 4-piece Vista iV golf balls all season long.
